Charlton @way
We were on our way to see The Lions play Charlton,we even had tickets and we had made it to France. BUT when we had arrived at the Eurotunnel,it seems it has closed down due to some trains that couldn,t handle some cold. So we had to wait and wait and wait and around 3 0 clock it could maybe have been possible for us to get a train to England but at that time our Millwall had already kicked off versus Charlton.
Now after the match it seems we missed a nice match with 4!!!! millwall goals.
Thank you very much Eurotunnel!!!! perhaps it is possible to have a service that IS working,it,s not the first time youre service is fucking SHIT!!!

SHAME!!!
Staines........STOP crying!!!!
MILLWALL fans have been posting tongue-in-cheek comments on a Staines News community website ahead of the FA Cup clash with Staines Town FC next Saturday.
In 24 hours, the story on our Laleham community section had received 59 comments, mostly from Millwall fans poking fun at concerns the match could lead to violence.
The comments follow the front page story in this week's Staines and Ashford News, which reported that Wheatsheaf Lane residents fear the fans will create damage on the day.
Poster Propertrousers said: "It seems there is to be a breakout by 50 hardened Millwall villains on the morning of the game. I genuinely fear for the residents of Staines."
Another poster, Gary Cheesefinger, said: "Be very careful residents of Staines. As you know we have history and will not
stop until every house in the area has had their doors knocked, and when answered our top boys will have run away.
"We will see it as a major defeat if some old girl hasn't called the Old Bill from her bungalow while 40,ó50 Millwall fans are urinating on her petunias."
But the comments have worried some homeowners.
One concerned resident posted: "I hope none of the above is true. I live in Wheatsheaf Lane and we held a community meeting on Tuesday night to voice our fears and concerns. The police seemed to play down the fear of violence, but having looked at Millwall on YouTube this morning and the comments above, I'm very worried, especially as we have just bought a new car and got new windows."
But a poster calling himself Ali G says: "Don't worry people of Staines. Da Staines Republican Army will protect you from dese gud fa nuffink South eas-siders."
Surrey Police have promised to make a strong presence on the day, and the managers of Staines Town say nothing will go wrong.

£5.2million loss
Millwall have announced a £5.2million loss in the last financial year but that's less than the previous year.
The loss, for the year up to June 30, is an improvement on last year's loss of £6.1million, despite failing to achieve promotion from League One.
The Lions narrowly missed out on promotion to the Championship last season, being beaten by Scunthorpe in the play-off final at Wembley.
Manager Kenny Jackett has been shrewd in the transfer market, improving his squad without spending a lot of money and Millwall currently lie just outside the play-off places.
They are also enjoying an FA Cup run and will hope to beat non-league Staines Town in their second round tie next week to be in with a chance of netting a lucrative tie against a Premier League club.
Chairman John G Berylson acknowledged the progress the Lions have made under Jackett and confirmed he is committed to continue investing in the club.
He said: "We went very close to winning promotion and that near miss has only made us more determined to achieve it in the very near future.
"I believe the key to our renewed success is that we have achieved a level of stability that is just beginning to pay off.
"Due to the financial uncertainty in today's world we have continued to fund the company and are very conscious of the financial issues facing football clubs at all levels from Conference to Premiership.
"As I have said many time before, this is a very special football club and if we all pull together and continue to work hard it will be a successful one."

not THAT easy!!
AFC Wimbledon are a semi-professional English football club affiliated to both the London and Surrey Football Associations. AFC Wimbledon take their name from and trace their origins to Wimbledon in the London Borough of Merton, although their home ground, Kingsmeadow, is in the neighbouring Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. The club and its supporters consider it to be a continuation of the former Wimbledon Football Club, whilst Milton Keynes Dons, the club formed when Wimbledon moved to Milton Keynes, are not considered by the club or fans to be representative in any way of the legacy and tradition of Wimbledon F.C.
The club began life in 2002, playing in the Premier Division of the Combined Counties League. AFC Wimbledon have since been promoted four times in seven seasons, with their success culminating in the 2008–09 Conference South championship which secured Conference National football for 2009–10.
The club currently hold the all-time English record for the most consecutive unbeaten league games by any senior football club, having played 78 league matches in a row without defeat over three seasons.

Another big game today, actually if we want to go for promotion every game is a big one! Today Colchester is visiting The Lions Den and they are 3rd of the League with 1 point behind nr 2,Charlton. Millwall is 8th of the table, with only 1 point behind nr 5 & 6 so both Millwall and Colchester need to win! Both teams won their last match at home with a 2-1.
We will see what happens today after last weeks result are we really that good or was it just a lucky week last week?

SHUT THAT DOOR!!!
Leeds finally found their way to South London and after drinking in Holborn, the West End and anywhere else that did not have a SE postcde in previous years.
70 Leeds were in The Weatherspoons bar. About 10.30 Millwall went around to the Weatherspoons, bottles and everything getting launched, most of the Leeds ran back in the pub. Millwall called them outside onto the street but they wouldnt come past the fenced off beer garden bit at the front. They was shouting "you're shit Millwall" but wouldnt come out. Old bill came steamed down and, you've guessed it, once they was in between the pub and the Millwall the Leeds all came out the pub. End of, Old bill swamped the area. Leeds got marched to the ground and put in there double early.
So short conclusion....nice that after 6 years you finaly managed to get to SE London, but don,t bother next time cause all you can do is hiding.......again!

Stockport 0-4 Millwall
NEIL HARRIS bagged his second hat-trick of the season as Millwall romped to a 4-0 win away at Stockport County.
The striker also missed a penalty as The Lions recorded their first away win of the campaign in stunning style.
They went ahead in the 19th minute when skipper Paul Robinson, on his return from injury, glanced in a Chris Hackett corner.
Just five minutes later they doubled their advantage as Harris intercepted Paul Huntington's weak back pass to slot past 'keeper Owain Fon Williams.
And it was 3-0 before half-time as Hackett's raking 40-yard pass fell again to the feet of Harris, who finished with aplomb.
The hitman should have bagged his hat-trick before the interval but missed a penalty he himself had won, so instead sealed his trio with a close-range finish from Steve Morison's cut-back in the 68th minute.

Charges 'not justified'
Millwall have vowed to defend themselves "vigorously" against the FA charges brought against them following crowd trouble at their Carling Cup match at West Ham in August.
The Lions have been granted a seven-day extension to mount their legal defence and respond to three charges arising from the violence which marred the game at Upton Park.
"We will be pleading not guilty to all charges and defending our position vigorously," said Lions chief executive Andy Ambler.
"It is a frustration to us that we are committing significant resources of time, energy and money towards having to defend ourselves in the face of these charges.
"It is our contention that the charges are not justified."

Ashley Grimes hit a hat-trick to earn Millwall a 3-2 victory against Dagenham & Redbridge in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Tuesday.
The former Manchester City trainee opened the scoring in the first half before the Daggers levelled the score before the break.
Grimes, who is stepping up his recovery after an injury lay-off, hit two more after the restart before the Daggers reduced the deficit with what proved to be a mere consolation goal

columnist has symphatie
By Ian Winwood
Here’s something that you won’t often hear in the mainstream press. Ready?
I have sympathy for Millwall Football Club.
There, I’ve said it.
Before explaining why, let me first add the usual qualification. Even the most defensive of Lions supporters would surely admit that the club does see an uncomfortable number of horrible people rallying beneath its flag. Last season, for this column I spoke to a regular at the New Den who claimed that he wouldn’t take a young child to the stadium because “you just don’t know what’s going to happen down there.” I have to admit, this wasn’t quite the stout defense of the organisation that I was hoping for.
But let he or she whose own club is without sin cast the first stone. Descriptions of how ‘orrible fans of the League 1 side can be must also be accompanied with credit for how much effort the club and many of its supporters have put into clearing out the worst elements of their fanbase, and of cleaning up Millwall’s oft-tarnished name.
Needless to say, the monkey business that occurred at Upton Park in the Carling Cup last month has done little to aid what is anyway a very difficult PR job.
To add to this blackening of an already murky name, the FA has laid charges at the club’s door relating to these events.
But I’m not sure what Millwall FC could have done to prevent what happened that night. And I’d like to hear from anyone that thinks they could.
Let’s recap. The visiting fans that night did not invade the pitch. They stood and watched as the home fans did. Lions’ supporters may not have reacted to this sight with smiles of patient indulgence, but the playing surface remained untouched by their feet.
What this shows is that Millwall’s ticketing policy worked.
One of the other complaints concerned the trouble outside of the ground. But it seems apparent that many people travelled from South London without tickets for the game, specifically, surely, to get involved. Shocking in a tedious kind of a way, for sure, but how on earth is this the fault of the football club they claim to support? The Lions did not sell them tickets from the game. They were no more responsible for their actions than Transport For London were for allowing them to board trains out of Bermondsey and Deptford.
Of course, not everything that happened can be excused in Millwall’s favour. Carlton Cole’s allegations of racist abuse should be investigated and, if accepted, the club should pay. The individual responsible, though, must pay more.
But let’s keep this thing in perspective. As much as humanly possible, England’s most unloved club acted in good faith on this night of bad behaviour.

Millwall 'shocked' by FA charges
Millwall say they are "shocked and disappointed" by the FA's decision to charge them over the trouble that flared during last month's Carling Cup tie with West Ham United at Upton Park.
West Ham have also been charged, but say they will review the case against them before making a formal response.
In an unprecedented move, the FA has decided the clubs each have a case to answer on allegations of racism by their supporters, as well as a raft of other charges. The gravity of the seven charges - West Ham face four and Millwall three -appears to reflect a desire within the governing body to stamp out a growing number of crowd problems this season. If the clubs are found guilty they face the prospect of heavy fines or being forced, under Fifa guidelines, to play matches behind closed doors.
There was severe crowd trouble before, during and after the tie, with a Millwall season ticket-holder stabbed, three pitch invasions and 13 arrests. Damage was caused to about 200 seats in the away end of the ground.
Millwall have responded to the charges by claiming that not only did they do everything in their power to prevent trouble on the night, but that the behaviour of their supporters was beyond reproach.
"Millwall Football Club are shocked and disappointed that charges have been profferred against us in respect of events that took place at West Ham United on Tuesday 25th August 2009," a statement from Millwall said. "We maintain that we did everything in our power with regard to our ticketing arrangements for this game. Furthermore we expressed our concerns in advance about ticket allocations and arrangements in general.
"It was widely acknowledged that none of our supporters came onto the pitch, and indeed the behaviour and forbearance of our fans brought praise from media observers on the night. Our question for the Football Association is what can Millwall Football Club do to control individuals' actions once inside our opponents' stadium? We have, and we continue to, assist the authorities in their investigations into the events of that evening. We will not make any further comment until we receive, from the Football Association, the evidence on which they are basing their case against us."
The FA is concerned about the claims from Carlton Cole, the West Ham forward, and Jason Price, his Millwall counterpart, that they suffered racial abuse during the tie at Upton Park on August 25.
West Ham responded to the charges by condemning the behaviour of a minority of their fans but claimed they followed strict police advice in the build-up to match.
"We are reviewing the FA charges and will respond accordingly," a West Ham United statement read. "In advance of the Millwall match, the club followed the strict advice of the police and relevant authorities at every stage of the planning process.
"That full cooperation continued on the night with the club working closely with police on a carefully set-out plan that was initiated and approved by the independent safety advisory group.
"We do acknowledge the appalling behaviour of a minority of fans inside the stadium and, in conjunction with the police, will continue to take strong and appropriate action against anyone found responsible."
Both West Ham, who travel to play Manchester City in the Barclays Premier League tonight, and Millwall, the Coca-Cola League one club, face three charges that they failed to ensure their supporters:
• Refrained from violent, threatening, obscene and provocative behaviour.
• Did not throw missiles, harmful or dangerous objects on to the pitch.
• Refrained from racist behaviour.
West Ham face the additional charge of failing to ensure that their supporters did not enter the field of play.
It is the second time that Millwall have faced such a charge. In 2004, they were fined £25,000 for failing to ensure that their spectators “refrained from racist and/or abusive behaviour” during a Carling Cup tie against Liverpool.
Millwall appealed and the FA appeals board found that the original tribunal had failed to apply its rules correctly and ignored or failed to give proper weight to defence evidence. The original charge came after Marvin Elliott, then of Millwall, and Djimi Traoré, then of Liverpool, clashed.
The FA was itself fined £70,000 by Uefa as punishment for the racist chanting and pitch invasions that marred England’s European Championship qualifying tie against Turkey at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland, in April 2003

FA charges
West Ham United and Millwall will be hit with a string of Football Association charges for the crowd trouble that scarred their Carling Cup tie. Exactly one month after the incident, the FA are finally ready to issue a list of indictments.
A West Ham United fan invades the pitch during the Carling Cup tie against Millwall.
The FA had planned to make their announcement on Wednesday, but were held up by the delay in receiving the final witness statements and closing off a complex list of enquiries.
FA sources informed ESPN Soccernet that the organisation's governance compliance team viewed footage from 47 CCTV cameras and sifted through all the relevant paper work in a meticulous fashion to ensure that any charges brought will stick when it comes to a Commission.
As well as fines, West Ham face having their Upton Park ground closed for one match.
Both clubs are sure to receive suspended sentences of the severest kind, which might even include the docking of points if any such crowd disturbances are repeated.
The FA are in determined mood to send out the right messages and to bring into effect punishments that will act as a deterrent.
With the FA's 2018 World Cup bid at stake, the game's governing body has no intention of failing to make a stand against violence and hooliganism.
Why do we get charged? It was their home game? They fucked up the ticket thing?! When we play at home and there,s crowd trouble (Liverpool at home) we are the only ones that get punnished, now when we,re playing away we will also get punnished??!!
