Blue Anchor message

Today I received this text message. I was asked to share this with the lot of you.

"On October 24th a charity do was held in The Blue Anchor in Bermondsey for the Royal Marsden Hospital. Over 2K was raised. This money has still not been passed on to the hospital despite many requests to the land lady Trish. Many people gave there money in good faith yet some nine months down the line the hospital has still not received anything. The land lady managed to get married a couple of weeks after."
This is thiefing of the lowest order.

BOYCOTT THE BLUE ANCHOR BAR AND PLEASE PASS THIS MESSAGE ON TO ALL THE BERMONDSEY WANKERS WHO DRINK IN THERE!!!

10 days!!

10 days, only 10 days than that long summer period without football is over.
Millwall kicks off in Ireland with a pre season friendly vs Galway.
our first trip will be when Middlesborough travels to The Den for the Richard Sadlier testomonial.

No Millwall deal for Danny Spiller

MIDFIELDER Danny Spiller is likely to line up against Millwall next season rather than in a Lions shirt.

The 27-year-old has suffered an 18-month injury nightmare but he will now seek pastures new after being told his two year stint at The Den will not be extended into next season

waiting on Whitbread

Millwall chairman John Berylson has told centre-back Zak Whitbread that he has until the end of July to agree a new contract at The Den.

The 25-year-old has just entered the final 12 months of his current deal with the Lions.

Berylson told the Southwark News: "We are waiting over Zak. July is our deadline on that.

"We have tried to come up with a contract that would allow Zak to leave if we failed to win promotion.

"I don't want to clip his wings, but he is an important asset to us. We won't give him away, but we would agree that he could move on to further his career.

"It is very early days yet, but there have not been the calls I thought there might be."

Sadlier benefit

Ex-Republic of Ireland international Sadlier was forced to retire through injury aged just 24, but will return to The Den for the game against Boro on Saturday August 1.

"It's been almost six years now since I retired so I'm delighted we have finally made this happen," said Sadlier.

"I can't wait for the chance to play once again at The Den and have the opportunity to finally show my appreciation to everyone connected with Millwall and say a final farewell."

Start of the season

Well, there,s still no League football,it takes 1 month before we start again. But plans have to be made to take days-off from work and all sort of things.
Our first trip as it seems now, will be Southend away,we were looking forward to a nice Saturday afternoon at the beach but ob had to spoil things, cause they can,t handle it. So they moved the game to a Fridaynight?!!! Well that is maybe even better,Southend nightlife should be fun too and the whole afternoon drinking on the boulevard of Brighton, sounds fun too!!
....If we visit the Lions earlier is not sure, sure is that we will be at Southend.
