First match doubts!

Saints uncertain future could mean a free weekend for Jackett and the boys

Millwall's opening day fixture against Southampton is in doubt thanks to the South Coast club's perilous financial state.

The Saints, who will start the season with a -10 handicap, must find a buyer by tomorrow or risk being thrown out of the League altogether. The club's administrators are currently in talks with the Pinnacle Group, who have the backing of Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier, but their period of exclusivity comes to an end on Friday. If a deal cannot be struck then the future looks bleak indeed.

The Saints' fans meanwhile had mixed views on facing The Lions in August. Most opinions were firmly stuck in the 1980s with talk of fans running riot on the coast while other arrogantly claimed that they would take three points off of Kenny Jackett's men and walk the division.

Goalkeepers on the move?

MILLWALL's former England U19 keeper Preston Edwards is by no means certain to sign a new deal with the Lions.

MILLWALL keeper David Forde has a clause in his contract which means he can leave because the Lions were not promoted.

So what are his plans at the moment?

Pink Cadillac

It looks like ages that we were there, the other side of the sea to see our Millwall play the League 1 final in Wembley. After that defeat I had enough of it for a while. No football for a while...it felt great,no dissapointments,no stress like will we get to that final or not,all over for a while. But now only a little while later it starts irritating.
What it has got to do with a pink cadillac,I really haven,t got a clue but I thought it was nice to show you some of the pic,s that a friend of us took when they were driving around London on their way to the big day of our club at Wembley. There were a lot of limo's with Wall fans but she's got a PINK one. It was good to see it altough we weren,t invited...... ;-) When I met her for the first time I thought she was a little bit different than others and now nowing her for a few years I know it for sure...a pink Caddie......ghehehe LOVELY.
This way I like to thank het for using her pics on here. And ofcourse we will see you soon......before 2011 ;-)

You can react

The last forum you,ve let me know how you all think about an interactive "thing" on the site. The guestmap is already on-line but I think most people click it away when the pop-up arrives. Onlything is read the pop-up and mark your location.

For the interactive part i,ve made it possible for all of you to comment on messages.
I,m very curious how long it takes before the first bollocks about other teams arrive. But we shall see. For now you can react on new messages.

So hope you enjoy the interactivity!!!

New deal for Jackett

Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has signed a new three-year contract which will keep him at the League One outfit until 2012.

I know not everyone agrees with me,but my opinion is that we ,ve got the best we can get so i,m glad Jackett stays!!!

Speculations

Next season,s Millwall squad???

The season has ended,we had a very decent season so players who played well are in the rumour mill. So here's part 1 of the story who,s leaving and who's not and ofcourse more parts to follow....but you,ve to count the parts yourselves.

Millwall's Dave Martin and Zak Whitbread were both the subject of speculation about their immediate futures in yesterday's tabloids, with reports suggesting that they are targets for other clubs other the summer.

Defender Whitbread is once again arousing the interest of Blackburn Rovers and Glasgow Rangers, with a fee in the region of £1.2 millions apparently set to be offered by either or both clubs, while the Sunday People reported that Cardiff City are interested in Dave Martin and are prepared to meet Millwall's evaluation of £1 million.

However Whitbread has recently pledged his future to the club while Martin has been told he's not going anywhere.
