Millwall's first game of the 2009/2010 season at St Mary's Stadium against troubled Southampton has been selected by SKY TV for live coverage
The relegated side, who are starting the season on -10 points after entering into administration will welcome Kenny Jackett's Lions on Saturday 8th August.
The match will now have a 12:45 kick off instead of the scheduled 3pm start.
The kick off time of Millwall's Boxing Day clash at Norwich City has also been brought forward to 12:45pm from 3pm on police advice.
The last openingsmatch of the season that was broadcasted live by Sky we got a draw at Elland Road 1-1. Followed by a season that we had to fight relegation.
