MILLWALL triallist Mathias Doumbe looks set to join MK Dons after having his contract terminated by Plymouth.
The 29-year-old centre-back was offered a two-year contract by Lions boss Kenny Jackett on his Plymouth wages but looks set to be offered higher pay by Paul Ince.
Doumbe had impressed during a week-long trial at The Den, playing as first a right-sided then a left-sided centre-back in Richard Sadlier's benefit match last Saturday, the 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough.
Jackett told tonight's fans forum: "He is half a centre-half and half a right-back, but size-wise he looks like more of a right-back to me.
"I made him an offer but it looks like he is going to MK Dons."
