Millwall draw a Premier League side out of the hat - West Ham!
MILLWALL will make the journey to West Ham later this month in the Carling Cup having seen off Bournemouth 4-0 in the first round last night.
The two sides have not met since April 2005 when the spoils were shared at Upton Park in a 1-1 draw, with Barry Hayles and Marlon Harewood the scorers.
The tie will be played on Wednesday August 26, subject to TV scheduling.
Millwall managing director Andy Ambler said: "This is a chance for Kenny Jackett's emerging side to test themselves against Premier League opposition.
"We are all looking forward to his squad showing off what they can do - though our players will be looking forward to it more than theirs will. I would like to think the TV cameras will want to be there because it is a long time since we played each other.
"We have a very experienced security team who are used to staging these sorts of games and we will make sure the match passes off with as little disruption to fans and the community as possible."
